Surfside Bali is looking for an experienced and hands-on Chief Engineer to join our team in Uluwatu.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in a 5-star hotel or resort is required
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Experience managing swimming pools and water treatment systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (DED MEP)
• Hands-on, proactive, and strong problem-solving mindset
• Good command of English, both spoken and written

Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering handover process from construction to hotel operations
• Oversee all engineering systems, including air conditioning, water supply, plumbing, electrical systems, and swimming pools
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance
• Manage defect tracking, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of engineering issues
• Supervise, lead, and develop the engineering team to maintain operational excellence
• Ensure all engineering works comply with safety regulations and company standards
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and operational departments to support smooth property operations
• Monitor engineering budgets, maintenance schedules, and operational reports
